What Would You Do With

Your 80,000 Miles?

Day 1 : Arrive in Manila

From larger than life shopping malls, to beautiful historical sites, and many foodie paradises, Manila has something for every type of traveler and most likely you’re going to start your Philippine adventure here. Wherever you’re flying in from, use this day to take things easy and enjoy the luxuries of being in a big city. The rest of your trip is going to be full of remote islands, beautiful water, and lots and lots of adventure. My two favorite areas to hangout for lunch or dinner are Makati and BGC (Bonifacio Global City). Makati’s center has a fun, international nightlife and BGC has an endless amount of bougie restaurants to try!

Day 2 : A Day on Loboc River

From Manila, you’re going to hop on a flight to the island of Bohol. This region of the Philippines is FULL of eco-tourism and has so much nature to explore, and your first stop should definitely be a day on Loboc River. Known for being one of the cleanest rivers in the country, you can take in the Philippines on a hour-long cruise enjoying local food, drinks and music. Stationed around the river, watch local musicians play their native songs and even enjoy traditional dance performances as your cruise down the beautiful river

Day 3 : Bohol Countryside

Get ready to start your day early, because sunrise at Chocolate Hill is something you don’t want to miss. Seeing the sunrays cut through the foggy hills is one of the most unique sunrises you can experience. After that, make your way through the beautiful man-made forest to learn about the various eco-friendly initiatives happening in the region. Then finally stop by the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary to see the cutest (and one one of the smallest) primates in the world.

Day 4 : Your Siargao Adventure

Pack your bags! It’s time to fly down to one of my favorite islands of the Philippines. General Luna is usually home base for most travelers, and there are so many good eats in this town. Grab a wood-fire cooked pizza, perfectly-crafted smoothie bowl, or even some bulky burritos—this town is one of the best places to fill your foodie dreams.

Day 5 : Surfing at Cloud 9

Cloud 9 is world renowned for surfing, so if you love to surf you have to check this place out! Beginners worry not.. there are many other beaches for you in Siargao. Check out Jacking Horse, Guiuan, or Quicksilver beaches, and if you really don’t know what you’re doing the locals are amazing instructors. Ask around to find yourself a local teacher.

Day 6: Coconut Trees & Magpupungko Rock Pools

Calling all photographers! Siargao is a tropical playground for photos. Find yourself a motorbike and you’re going to pass endless amounts of palm trees hugging the windy roads to the Magpupungko Rock Pools. So take photos and relax in these pristine rock pools at the end of your trip.

Day 7:  Daku Island

This is it, your last day and there’s no better way to spend it than a day trip to Daku Island—just off the coast of Siargao. You can find a tour leaving from General Luna pier which will include your food, guides, and a round-trip boat for a full day of fun-in-the-sun. You won’t regret visiting this island!
